 The Competition African International Modeling Competition is a new model contest, a new modern alternative for finding top African models of the future. The participation at the AIMC 2007 offers models access into a professional model career as well as a look behind the scenes of what it is like on a daily basis for an aspiring or professional model. A panel of seven to nine judges will be invited by AIMC 2007 organizers to partake in this year's contest. The judges will be from international and African industries such as fashion design, fashion editorial, media, entertainment, and model management.
Judges will be evaluating all contestants based on the following criteria: 
- Overall appearance
- Personality and professional attitude
- Catwalk and photo-shot performance
Contestants are going to be judged in 4 categories.
- Categories of Competition
- African Couture
- Swimwaer
- High Fashion Couture
Personal Style Eligibilty To be eligible to be consider to as the 25 finalist to compete in AIMC 2007 you must be:
- Ages 17- 29
- Of a minimum height of 5.8”
- African by birth, parentage, grand parentage (we reserve the right to ask that you prove this fact at any time).
- Be willing to travel internationally.
