Application and Rules

This contest is open to African/ Urban models.
I am not currently pregnant and am of sound, mental condition.
I am a natural born female between the ages of 16 - 28 years of age.
I have never been arrested or convicted of any crime, including any misdemeanours. I do not have a criminal record or have anything in my background that could bring the contest or its sponsors into disrepute. I have not at any time been involved in any illegal activities or use of drugs of any nature.

All models that submit an application form and pictures to be considered for AIMC are bound by and fully accept the rules and regulations as stated below.
Each Participant must strictly comply with these Official Rules. ("Contest Rules"). All contest entrants are "Participants". All materials, ideas, concepts and communications submitted by Participant(s) will be included in the definition of Submission.
All entries (including photos) become the sole property of Africa Pearls and will not be returned or acknowledged. Africa Pearls reserves the right to reject any photos for whatever reason, at its sole discretion.

I CONFIRM THAT
I am applying to be considered for participation in the AIMC competition.

I certify that the information that I have provided in my application form is true and correct. If any of the information is not true or ceases to be true at any time during my application process, or during my participation in the AIMC competition, I will be excused from any further participation in the event and will immediately relinquish any and all titles and prizes bestowed upon me as a result of participation in the event, without any cause of refunds of any monies or expenses that may have been incurred by me as a result of preparing or participating in the event.

I understand that if I am selected to participate in the AIMC competition, there is no entry fee to participate but I will have to obtain sponsorship.
I am responsible for all my travel arrangements to and from the grand final and any personal expenses related to the event, and those of any chaperones or persons accompanying me.

I understand that if I am under 18 years of age, I will be required to make arrangements for a guardian or chaperone to accompany me to the event bearing all their costs. The chaperone may only attend the final event and may not come to any practices or rehearsals related to the event.

I understand that by submitting an application to be considered for participation in AIMC does not constitute participation in the final contest. There is a selection process that will be conducted by a panel of judges and I shall be advised of their decision via email/phone call.

Only complete applications submitted with necessary pictures will be considered for participation. Incomplete applications will not be considered and participants will not be notified that their application was incomplete.
I understand that the rules and regulations pertaining to the event are subject to change at any time without notice.

I understand that the date/venue maybe changed or the event cancelled due to any natural or unforeseen disaster that is beyond the control of Africa Pearls.

I hereby authorize the Africa Pearls and its subsidiaries to use my name, likeness, images, photographs, writings, recordings and personality derived from my application and participation in the AIMC competition and all related activities for any and all purposes, including but not limited to publicity, promotions, marketing, advertising, distribution, and sales without any obligations for remuneration or compensation in regards to this competition and subsequent events and campaigns.
