| The
African International Modeling Competition is an event founded
and produced by Africa Pearls, Inc., a modeling, talent and event production
company based in Maryland.
Africa Pearls is dedicated
to defining for ourselves what true beauty is for African women of the
Diaspora. This effort is growing in popularity among young African women
across America and around the world. AIMC will showcase the beauty and
talent of 20 aspiring models seeking to launch their career as the next
prominent African/Pan African model.
The competition will
provide its contestants with training, exposure, prizes and career opportunities.
AIMC
GOALS
- To celebrate the
essence of African/Pan African beauty.
- To give aspiring
African/Pan African models the opportunity to experience the glitz's
and glamour of the fashion industry.
- To give American
and International businesses the opportunity to brand their products
using AIMC highly trained models.
- To unite all of
Africa's children and other cultural communities in a celebration of
beauty, fashion and entertainment.
- To create international
exposure for quality African/Pan African models.

- AIMC will provide all contestants with tools to build successful careers
- Start professional modeling portfolios for every contestant
- Provide professional runway training with experienced industry coaches
- Promote the models to casting agents and top magazines
- Actively seek ad promotion, casting calls and product placement campaigns
